Northern Experience Wildlife Tours offer exclusive, guided, birdwatching, photography and wildlife tours, holidays and tuition, based in Northumberland, the North Pennines and the Scottish Borders.
With spectacular wildlife including Black Grouse, Peregrine, Goshawk, Osprey, Roseate Tern, Grey Seal, Otter, Red Squirrel, Wild Goat, Roe Deer, Minke Whale and White-beaked Dolphin, Northumberland has something for everyone. Whether you are young or old, new to birdwatching and wildlife tours or already experienced, we will improve your chances of finding these beautiful creatures.
As Northumberland's only fully licenced and insured wildlife and birdwatching guides we're committed to your safety and comfort as well as to getting you close to our stunning wildlife :-) We're passionate about the environment that is home to our wildlife (and all of us as well!) so, along with our Green Policy and respsonsible Visitor Charter, we encourage our clients to use public transport to travel to Northumberland whenever possible. We can provide advice about the most appropriate rail and bus stations for your visit, and offer a pick-up/drop-off service at the start and end of your Safari Day, Prestige Tour or Package Holiday with us. Let us do the driving as you relax and enjoy Northumberland's outstanding wildlife and landscapes.
Observe Otters and Ospreys at Kielder, search for Red Squirrels in southeast Northumberland or Seals around Lindisfarne, watch wildlife, whales and dolphins on a Northumberland Pelagic, improve your birdwatching skills, take a Prestige Tour (our exclusive wildlife tours for two), arrange a group visit with birdwatching and wildlife tours of Northumberland or purchase Gift Vouchers for wildlife tours to celebrate a special occasion; all expertly led by the friendly, enthusiastic wildlife guide described by North East Life magazine as 'The Northeast's number one wildlife detective and otter-poo expert'.

We would like you to help us - our Responsible Visitor Charter has suggestions on what you can do to be a greener visitor.
Responsible Visitor Charter
Be a responsible visitor - six things that you can do to help save the planet
1. Conserve energy - reduce energy by switching off lights and closing windows if the heating is on. The Energy Saving Trust provides information on what you can do at home.
2. Give the car a rest - leave the car behind, if only for a day. Walk, cycle or use public transport.
3. Shop local - use local products, they give you a flavour of the area and help to support local communities.
4. Reduce, Reuse and Recycle - try to avoid overly packaged goods and say no to that extra carrier bag. Try to recycle any waste that you have.
5. Be water wise - Please use water wisely. Turn off the tap when brushing your teeth.
6. Respect nature - Help us to look after the landscape and wildlife by not littering, guarding against fire and using footpaths and cycleways responsibly.
And most importantly, have a great time when you are here - we would like you to come back!
