Martin is an experienced speaker, regularly giving illustrated talks to wildlife, conservation and community groups as well as having presented primarily photographic research for public bodies (including Natural England, Northumberland Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authority, Northumberland Coast AONB Partnership). Martin has also given lectures at the British Birdwatching Fair each year from 2010-2020 and regularly delivers marine mammal identification training courses for MARINElife and the North East Big Watch Weekend.
Martin delivers talks covering astronomy, stargazing, conservation, ecology and photographic techniques with a relaxed, entertaining anecdotal approach that encourages audience engagement.
