Following our adventure in the North Sea on Saturday, I had to gather my thoughts, and clean my binoculars and ‘scope, \u00a0ready for a\u00a0full week of guided birdwatching.\u00a0 I drove north on Sunday\u00a0to meet\u00a0up with Sheena Harvey, editor of Bird Watching Magazine, and her husband Alan.\u00a0 With nearly three days to show them the\u00a0delights that Northumberland has to offer, in terms of birdwatching holidays, guided birdwatching and\u00a0birdwatching in general, I was really looking forward to the trip.\u00a0 It started a bit later than expected due to vehicle and aquarium problems at their end \ud83d\ude41 but we had a nice meal at the Lindisfarne Inn on Sunday night and discussed the plan for the next few days.<\/p>\n
