With a forecast of light westerlies and good weather, I arrived at Royal Quays ahead of our 10hr Northumberland Ultimate Pelagic<\/a> confident that we’d have a memorable day offshore…<\/p>\n

Gannet, Fulmar, Kittiwake, Guillemot, Razorbill, Puffin, Manx Shearwater, Great Skua<\/strong><\/em> and Arctic Skua<\/strong><\/em> all gave obliging views and then we started finding Minke Whales<\/strong><\/em> \ud83d\ude42\u00a0 Continuing northeast I was sitting alongside Allan in the wheelhouse and noticed some distant splashing – and there were six White-beaked Dolphins<\/strong><\/em> heading toward us!\u00a0 More dolphins followed and we finished the day with a total of 3 Minke Whales<\/strong><\/em>, 6 Harbour Porpoise<\/strong><\/em> and 37 White-beaked Dolphins<\/strong><\/em> \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
