NEWT&#8217;s North Sea Pelagic 13\/06\/17"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We started <a href=\"http:\/\/www.northernexperiencewildlifetours.co.uk\/tour\/3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our 2017 pelagic season<\/a> earlier than usual, with a private booking for Teri&#8217;s birthday.\u00a0 There were some familiar faces on board, including Paul&#8230;who was on the first ever NEWT Safari back in January 2008!<\/p>\n<p>By the time we were back at the marina, the volume of cakes, sweets and crisps that had been consumed would put an entire school of small children to shame.\u00a0 Interspersed between all the cake consumption were flocks of <em><strong>gulls, guillemots<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>gannets<\/strong><\/em> plundering shoals of sandeel and, almost inevitably, some dramatic light over the North Sea \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3837\"
